Tongue Tie

Tongue tie is an unusually thick, short band of tissue that is tight between the floor of the mouth and the top of the tongue.

This structure if tight and restricted enough will hinder normal function of the tongue which may in turn cause problems in speech and breastfeeding difficulties. Our chiropractors have had significant training and experience with pre and post frenectomy care for those children/babies that have had surgery to remove this tissue. 

We refer and share patients commonly with a strong emphasis on collaborative care often seeing patients from www.enhancedentistry.com.au/tongue-tie-clinic and many IBCLC’s, speech therapists, and OT’s.
